After 3 months downtime after a small hiccup whilst moving servers (and between hosting companies) we are back online!
The site is still under construction and will be over the next month leading up to fresher's week so bear with us if something doesn't work at first! BassMent! Radio to play Fresher's

BassMent! Radio is back online for Welcome week this year for 2 days with LIVE shows.
The first one will be at the HUU Welcome Party, blasting your favourite rock, pop, RnB and dance tunes to the early hours in Calvino's Café and Bar. Feel free to come and ask for any songs, or if you have an MP3 player, and we'll plug you in for your favourite anthems. If you need an incentive, our camera will be on hand showing your presenters and your peers having a blast.
Our second show will be at Fresher's fair where you will be able to hear about some of the great societies on offer as well as sign up if you fancy a go at presenting, helping out with the studio and the website, becoming a promoter or even to get information on our sister medium, the Scarborough Tide magazine.
I really hope to see you all there for the best start to the rest of your life and to welcome anybody aboard who fancies a go at this radio and magazine malarky ;)

For those of you online today, please be warned that at 17:00 the site will go down breifly for a small upgrade in the CMS software running this site. This should only take about 20 minutes maximum.
This will happen again at 18:30, when the site will be down for considerably longer.
